We’re excited to share an important milestone for Society 1056, with plans for the Stage 06 Park officially endorsed by Council, with civil construction now underway, and FORGE appointed to bring this landmark community play space to life.

Spanning approximately one hectare and located in the heart of the community, the new park represents another important step in bringing the Society 1056 vision to life. Designed as a place for recreation, relaxation and community enjoyment, it will give residents and families a dedicated outdoor destination to enjoy from the earliest stages of the community’s growth.

As Society 1056 continues to evolve, the delivery of quality open space remains a key priority. The council endorsement of the Stage 06 Park reflects a commitment to providing meaningful community infrastructure early, helping to support a connected and liveable neighbourhood for years to come.

Adventure and Discovery at Every Visit

The Stage 06 Park has been designed to encourage exploration, movement and imagination through a variety of play experiences.

Children will be able to climb, crawl, balance, swing and discover new challenges across a range of features, including:

• Multi-level play tower
• Cargo net climbs
• Monkey bars
• Rope and pommel obstacle courses
• Tunnel crossings
• Fire pole
• Large tube slide
• Standard, basket and joey swings
• Cubby spaces and hammocks

The park’s design creates opportunities for children of all ages and abilities to enjoy the space, encouraging repeat visits and new adventures with every trip to the park.

Nature-Inspired Play

Moving away from traditional playground designs, the park embraces natural textures, organic forms and timber-inspired elements that blend seamlessly into the landscape.

Influenced by woodland environments, tree trunks, nests and branching structures, the design aims to create a more immersive outdoor experience that encourages curiosity, creativity and unstructured play.

A Place for Connection

While adventure is at the heart of the design, the park has also been planned as a welcoming space for everyday moments.

Cubbies, hammocks, gathering areas and quiet retreat spaces have been carefully integrated throughout the park, creating opportunities for families to relax, children to socialise and neighbours to connect.

Whether it’s an afternoon playdate, a catch-up with friends or a moment to unwind outdoors, the park is intended to become a valued part of daily life within the Society 1056 community.

Looking Ahead

The endorsement of the Stage 06 Park represents a significant milestone for Society 1056 and highlights the continued investment being made in the future of the community.

The park is expected to be completed in Q2 next year, giving residents and families a new destination to enjoy as the community continues to grow.
